Hello! Welcome to my Amateur Radio Blog! Let me tell you a bit about myself.
My name is Mark and my Amateur Callsign is N4FH.
I was first licensed as a Technician Class operator in 1993 as KE4IOF. In 1994, I sat for my 5-WPM code test and became a Technician+ Class Operator.
I spent the next few years starting a family and was mostly inactive from 1997 to late 2020. In 2002 I did manage to upgrade to General Class and shortly thereafter, Extra Class.
My station consists of an Icom IC7300 driving a Hy-Gain AV-18VS multi-band vertical through an LDG-100 remote tuner.
Professionally, I’ve been a Software Engineer since 1983.
